FAQ

Getting Started

Q1.  Do I need previous experience to join a Holistika retreat?

No prior experience is required. Our programs welcome both first-time participants and those with an established practice. Every journey begins with a one-to-one orientation call where we get to know you, understand your intentions, and help you choose the program that fits your situation. You can book that call at https://www.holistika.center.

Q2.  How do I choose the right program for me?

The best starting point is a free orientation call. We look at what you’re seeking — personal transformation, emotional release, life direction, or deeper self-knowledge — and recommend the format that matches. Options range from one-to-one Spiritual & Life Guidance to immersive group retreats. Learn more at https://www.holistika.center/core-transformative-life-coaching.

Q3.  What languages are your retreats held in?

We work in English, French and Spanish. To protect the depth of each experience, dedicated retreats are held in a single language at a time rather than mixing groups, so everyone shares a common language throughout.

During the Retreat

Q4.  How large are the groups?

Groups are intentionally small — typically 12 to 16 guests — so that each person receives genuine individual attention. We host participants in private rooms only, with no dormitories.

Q5.  Where do the retreats take place?

We run programs in immersive venues set deep in nature, with established locations in Spain (Barcelona, Málaga, Mallorca), Switzerland, Germany, and exclusive experiences in Colombia and Mexico. Each venue is chosen for privacy, comfort and connection with the natural surroundings.

Q6.  What does a typical retreat include?

Programs combine practices such as breathwork, ceremonial work, integration sessions, family constellation work and embodied movement, woven together by experienced facilitators. The exact structure depends on the specific retreat — your orientation call covers the full schedule for the program you choose.

Safety & Suitability

Q7.  How do you handle safety and screening?

Every participant completes an evaluation and orientation step before joining. This lets us understand your health background and intentions, and ensures the program is appropriate for you. Participants are responsible for disclosing relevant medical or psychological conditions so we can support you properly.

Q8.  Is this a substitute for medical or psychological care?

No. Holistika Center does not provide medical, psychological or psychiatric services, and our programs are complementary rather than a replacement for professional care. We encourage participants to consult their own healthcare providers about any specific concerns. Full terms are at https://www.holistika.center/termsconditionsdisclaimers.

Q9.  Who are the facilitators?

Our team brings together facilitators experienced in breathwork, holistic facilitation, coaching and ceremonial practice, working across several languages. You can read more about the team and approach at https://www.holistika.center/about-holistika-center.

Programs & Training

Q10.  What is the Microdosing Program?

It’s a structured coaching program for those interested in a measured, intentional approach to personal development, with guidance throughout. Details are at https://www.holistika.center/microdosing-starter.

Q11.  Do you offer facilitator training?

Yes. We offer professional training paths including a Plant Medicine Facilitator certification and dedicated Kambo & Bufo Alvarius training. See https://www.holistika.center/plant-medicine-facilitator-training-certification and https://www.holistika.center/facilitator-kambo-bufoalvarius-training.

Q12.  What is Spiritual & Life Guidance?

It’s our one-to-one accompaniment program drawing on family constellations and systemic approaches, designed for people seeking clarity, direction and lasting personal change. More at https://www.holistika.center/core-transformative-life-coaching.

Booking & Integration

Q13.  How do I book?

Start by booking a free orientation call at https://www.holistika.center. After we’ve confirmed the right fit together, we guide you through registration for your chosen program.

Q14.  What support do I get after a retreat?

Integration is a core part of our approach. We encourage ongoing integration practices and offer preparation and integration support so the insights from your experience translate into lasting change in daily life. See https://www.holistika.center/psychedeliccoaching.

Understanding the Traditions

Q15.  What are entheogens and plant medicines?

Entheogens are naturally occurring substances used for centuries within ceremonial and spiritual traditions to support self-reflection and inner exploration. At Holistika Center we approach them from an educational, wellness and transformation perspective, always within a structured framework of preparation and integration.

Q16.  Which traditions does Holistika work with?

Our programs reference traditions including Ayahuasca, San Pedro, Kambo and Bufo Alvarius, alongside complementary practices such as Rapé and Sananga. Each is held within its cultural and ceremonial context. You can explore our retreat formats from the menu at https://www.holistika.center.

Q17.  What is the Cofán Yagé tradition?

It is one of the lineages whose ceremonial heritage informs our work. We honour its cultural origins and context, described further at https://www.holistika.center/thecofányagétraditionofputumayo.

Preparation & Integration

Q18.  How should I prepare for a ceremonial retreat?

Preparation is essential and begins well before arrival, covering intention-setting, lifestyle adjustments and a personal orientation. We provide dedicated preparation and integration support for every participant — see https://www.holistika.center/psychedeliccoaching.

Q19.  Why does integration matter so much?

The experience itself is only one part of the journey; integration is how insights become lasting change. We place strong emphasis on integration practices and ongoing support so that what emerges during a retreat can be carried meaningfully into everyday life.

Q20.  What is microdosing?

Microdosing refers to a measured, intentional approach used within a structured personal-development context. Our Microdosing Program offers coaching and guidance throughout — https://www.holistika.center/microdosing-starter.

Specific Practices

Q21.  What is Kambo?

Kambo is an Amazonian practice traditionally used in cleansing and resilience rituals. We offer both experiential context and a dedicated practitioner training path at https://www.holistika.center/facilitator-kambo-bufoalvarius-training.

Q22.  What is breathwork, and how does it relate to these practices?

Breathwork uses conscious breathing techniques to access expanded states without any substance. It is a powerful standalone practice and also a foundation we use to prepare participants for deeper ceremonial work.

Q23.  What is Family Constellation work?

Family Constellation is a systemic therapeutic approach that helps reveal and resolve hidden dynamics within family systems. It features across many of our programs as a tool for emotional release and insight.

Safety, Legality & Suitability

Q24.  Are these experiences safe for everyone?

Not necessarily — suitability depends on each person’s health and circumstances. Every participant completes an evaluation and orientation step, and is responsible for disclosing relevant medical or psychological conditions. Holistika Center does not provide medical services and our work is complementary to, not a replacement for, professional care.

See https://www.holistika.center/termsconditionsdisclaimers.

Q25.  Where can I learn about the science and research?

We maintain an overview of the concepts and research informing our approach at https://www.holistika.center/how-the-magic-happens, plus curated educational documentaries and videos at https://www.holistika.center/faq.

Q26.  How do I begin?

The first step is always a free orientation call, where we discuss your intentions and the most suitable path for you. Book it at https://www.holistika.center.
